Wedding Theme

Planning a wedding theme is an exciting way to pull off the wedding of your dreams and to give your guests a day to remember.  whilst popular themes include those centered around things like butterflies, romance and flowers, a Las Vegas wedding theme gives you plenty of scope for all aspects of your day and can certainly create the party of a lifetime!

Here are 25 ideas for a Las Vegas theme which will give you a party you will never forget!

  1. Hire a limo for your wedding transport and arrive in style, complete with champagne of course!
  2. End your day with a fanstastic firework display – it is the showbiz way to end a party.
  3. Have some fireworks inside with indoor sparklers.  Consider having them placed in your dessert where they will look amazing once lit.
  4. Seek out some oversized playing cards and use them as wall decorations or as table ‘numbers’.
  5. Have a giant ‘Welcome to Las Vegas’ sign displayed at the entrance to your reception venue so your guests will have no trouble recognizing the theme of the day.
  6. Champagne may be the staple drink in Vegas but add some color and excitement to your party with some colorful cocktails as well.
  7. Vegas doesn’t have to be just for your reception theme, consider having your bachelor and bachelorette parties there too.
  8. Design your wedding stationery with iconic Vegas symbols such as the famous welcome sign.
  9. For your wedding colors choose classic casino style black and white and coordinate everything from the table linens to the glassware.
  10. Choose wedding favors that will raise a smile such as miniature slot machines which dispense candies.
  11. If your male attendants are smokers then give them gifts of Zippo lighters designed with playing cards.  They can be engraved too making them a perfect keepsake of the day.
  12. When choosing your flowers opt for traditional blooms such as white roses and black flower buds to keep with the dice color scheme.
  13. Accent your tables with white candles in black glass holders.
  14. Give your guests a treat with black and white chocolate dice, you can pile them up on the tables or use them as wedding favors.
  15. If you want a touch of vintage Vegas then choose a vintage cadillac for your wedding transport.
  16. Don’t forget to theme your wedding cake too.  Choose playing card symbols, dice and iconic symbols of Vegas for your decorations.
  17. Entertain your guests the Vegas way and hire in a Frank Sinatra impersonator to sing in the evening or hire in Rat Pack lookalikes to mingle with your guests.
  18. Scour the favor stores for Vegas styled place card holders such as the Vegas welcome sign or playing cards.

  20. If the wedding planning, bridesmaid brawls and family biccering is getting you down, then ditch them all and have a real Vegas wedding!
  21. Design your wedding menu around some all American classics, such as mini hamburger canapes!
  22. For your wedding songs you could include music from the Rat Pack, Tom Jones and of course, the King himself – Elvis!
